Why is print still relevant?
PRINT IS DIFFERENT!
... and in today’s digital age print stands out by being different!
Studies have shown that we process information we read from printed material in a completely different way to when we read it online, plus, when we read a leaflet or brochure we are only focussed on that - we are not distracted by digital noise.
So print can be a really useful addition to your marketing mix.

THE PROCESS
You then need to translate this into a brief for your designer which includes writing appropriate copy and sourcing images.
Moving on, proofs have to be reviewed and edited, so that the copy and images work together in the best possible way and remember, with printed material, the space is fixed and finite which often be quite a challenge!
Finally, you need to complete this process by your deadline (which is often immovable e.g. if you are getting literature produced for an Expo)
I CAN HELP
I also know that often the middle stage of any print project – when you get the first visual back and realise that your “perfect” copy just doesn’t work or look right – is the most challenging.
However, copy editing is another one of my skills honed whilst publishing my magazines - I know lots of tricks!
