Having originally studied Chemistry at University I realised early on I was not cut out to be a career scientist – too many practical disasters in the laboratory! So, I focussed instead on the commercial side of business.
I have spent my whole career in Marketing and Sales; 14 years in the Corporate world (Healthcare), 9 years as a freelance Marketing Consultant specialising in Market Research and Copywriting (Science & Healthcare) and 19 years running The Magazine Connection, helping small businesses promote themselves to local residents.
Today I help busy small businesses implement their marketing plans.
I also set up my own independent business networking group, Coffee and Connect in 2008 which ran very successfully for 16 years. Today I am a collaborative partner of Chamber Connects; a networking event organised by Hampshire Chamber of Commerce... as you might guess I love networking!

Although classically trained in Marketing Strategy (I have a post-grad Management Diploma) I have always been more focussed on tactical marketing – in simple terms I just like getting things done!
I have a wealth of marketing and sales knowledge which I can draw on to help you promote your business successfully and as a small business owner myself I have real life experience of all this entails too!
